The feeling is surreal. Not only are my 20's gone, but so are my 30's now. Some people consider their childhood to be the best time of their life. Others consider their 20's. Few consider their 30's to be their prime, but I was one of them. I graduated college when I was 21, went to the full time training for two years, and joined the workforce when I was 23. I got into my first serious relationship when I was 32, which ultimately ended when I was 35. Then, I got married when I was 36, and had my first kid before I was 37.

Now, I'm 40. I'm surprised I've been working at the same company for ten years. I've lived in the current house for 13 years. I've been married for almost four years. My kid is three years old. This website has been up for 16 years. Time has steadily gone by while I've been busy.

I feel like things have changed a lot since I got married and now my life mainly revolves around my kid. I still work on many side projects, but it's been shifting more towards physical things and less programming.

These past 40 years have been eventful, and if the next 40 are similar, I would consider myself to have lived a full life. Got my money's worth.
