He's two months old! Glad he's made it this far so far. This past month has been much easier than before as he's gotten fatter and stronger. I'm no longer worried that he might break or die on me. He's a survivor.
He's started to smile, and just last night, laugh. I'm not sure he finds anything funny, but it's more of a reflex or coincidence. These moments are fleeting and are hard to catch.
He's grown accustomed to tummy time and now prefers sleeping on his belly. This is in stark contrast with before when he hated being face down. Along the same lines, he's started being able to hold his head up.
We started taking him out to church meetings, restaurants, stores, and walks. I want him to start experiencing the outside world. More enrichment. He's been generally good but can get fussy after a while.
He got a massive round of four vaccines two days ago. Initially, we were very worried about his potential reactions, but he seems to have fared quite well. No fever, minor irritability, not much decrease in appetite.
As before, he has a great appetite. Eating really is the way. I feel like lots of his problems are solved as soon as he starts eating. These include being constipated, being irritated, being in pain (from the vaccines), being too alert to sleep, being too lethargic or sleeping for too long, being too small or light, etc. He always looks so happy and satisfied after a big meal.
